"Anxiety"

 

Mixed media sculpture.

 

What looks like writing represents the thoughts, the thorns inside - the physical sensations: tight chest, pounding heart. I am sure many of us are well familiar with all this and have our own set. This is my attempt to get this out into some material form.

 

Materials: air-drying clay, foam, cotton cord, plant material, watercolour paint, varnish.

 

Approx. size: Height - 17cm, width - 10 cm, depth - 10 cm.
