"A Dancer"

300 gsm watercolour paper, watercolour, air-drying clay, raspberry leaf skeleton.
Size: 24 x 24 cm (with frame).
 
A dancer, that materialised out of a dry leaf skeleton. It came from a raspberry bush, attacked by sawfly larvae. The skeleton looked so beautiful, like lace, so I kept it. When I looked at it later, it was clear that it had legs, arms and a neck, and then it was just a matter of filling in the blanks. The dancer is surrouded by a floral watercolour frame.  
 
I aim to give a good representation of the colours, but the actual colour may look slightly different from the picture due to screen calibration.
